ENTP: "Inventor".
Enthusiastic interest in everything and always sensitive to
possibilities. Non-conformist and innovative. 5% of the total
population.

Description:
ENTPs value their ability to use imagination and innovation to deal with problems. Trusting in their ingenuity to get them out of trouble, they often neglect to prepare sufficiently for any given situation. This characteristic, combined with their tendency to underestimate the time needed to complete a project, may cause the ENTP to become over-extended, and to work frequently beyond expected time limits. Complicating this situation is their predisposition to experiment with new solutions. This makes them eager to move on to the next challenge when things get boring. ENTPs become stressed when their improvisational abilities are ineffective and they will avoid circumstances where they might fail.

If stress continues, ENTPs become distracted and their "can do" attitude is threatened. Feelings of incompetence, ineptness, and inadequacy take over. They need to escape situations that are associated with anxiety is more prominent for the ENTP than for any other personality type. Doubtful of whether they will have what it takes to accomplish a task, they displace their fears onto situations they can elude. Panic, fear, and anxiety then block the expression of their creativity. Defensive phobic reactions cause the ENTP to circumvent achievement in other areas and prevent the success they strive on.

This lists represent careers and jobs people of your type tend to enjoy doing. The job requirements are similar to the personality tendencies of your personality type. It is important to remember that this is not a list of all the jobs possible. And it is very important to remember that people can, and frequently do, fill jobs that are dissimilar to their personality... this happens all the time...and sometimes works out quite well.

My IQ from IQTest.com. Try it yourself!

General IQ Score from IQTest.com

I think I did alright, if anyone who happens to read this blog takes the iq test off their site, please comment on how you scored.

This is what their site had to say about my IQ:

Your General IQ Score of 151 shows how able your mind is in general. Anyone with a General IQ Score this high is considered to be a genius. This score is better than 99.97% of all persons taking this test. All known occupations can be comprehended with a General IQ this high. You should be able to handle any academic challenges.

You scored higher than your General IQ Score in 10 individual ability categories. 2 of these better scores could be called statistically significant and may indicate special abilities, or that you were distracted on those parts of the IQ Test that counted more heavily in the other ability categories.

Arithmetic

Solving many of the IQ Test's problems required the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers mentally. Many mental tasks require arithmetical operations even though numbers may not be involved, and thus number manipulation abilities can strongly indicate general intelligence.

Your Arithmetic IQ score of 152 is not significantly different from your General IQ score. This score is better than 99.97% of all persons taking this test.

Spatial Skill

Understanding what changes will occur when conditions vary is a deep and powerful ability of the mind. All invention and creativity of every sort is based upon this ability. Although test problems usually involve manipulation of objects in space, persons with a stronger ability to spatially manipulate can also be expected to use this ability to be able to better predict how social and psychological situations would change due to variation.

Your Spatial Skill IQ score of 147 is not significantly different from your General IQ score. This score is better than 99.91% of all persons taking this test.

Logical

This is the ability to determine if a set of rules has been correctly followed. This ability is most useful in combination with other mental skills listed above. Those with strong logical ability are quicker to see where a given set of conditions is going to lead, have a strong sense of justice, and better understand--from an intellectual analysis--the benefits of harmony.

Your Logical IQ score of 154 is not significantly different from your General IQ score. This score is better than 99.98% of all persons taking this test.

Spelling

The ability to spell can indicate general intelligence. Remembering a set sequence of letters indicates the mind's ability to retrieve remembered facts. Learning how to spell and use the words of a language is almost a complete IQ test in itself. Although poor spellers with high IQ scores can be found, it is rare, and in general--everything else being equal--the better spellers have higher IQ scores.

Your Spelling IQ score of 163 is exceptionally higher than your General IQ score. This score is better than greater than 99.99% of all persons taking this test.

Short Term Memory

The ability to remember things for a short period of time allows the mind to check back and retrieve facts needed to complete a problem solving operation. This ability becomes more critical when problems have many aspects that need consideration and/or need to be solved mentally. This ability strongly determines how efficiently one handles the many aspects of normal life. If your short term memory ability is strong you are much less likely to seem inattentive or "slow to get it" to others.

Your Short Term Memory IQ score of 153 is not significantly different from your General IQ score. This score is better than 99.98% of all persons taking this test.

Rote Utilization

This is the ability to take a set of memorized facts and mentally extract and/or operate with or upon the facts within the set that are pertinent to the problem at hand. Persons with more of this ability can be expected to spell well, remember telephone and other numbers easily, be more adroit in procedural operations, and have a stronger foundation for tasks that require the use of memorized material.

Your Rote Utilization IQ score of 159 is exceptionally higher than your General IQ score. This score is better than greater than 99.99% of all persons taking this test.

Algebraic

This is the ability of the mind to abstractly handle quantities and qualities. Persons who are strong in this ability can more quickly and more deeply understand analogies, stories, derivations, equalities, and hierarchical structures.

Your Algebraic IQ score of 162 is exceptionally higher than your General IQ score. This score is better than greater than 99.99% of all persons taking this test.

General Knowledge

Knowledge that is casually picked up and remembered can indicate intelligence, because persons with higher intelligence will exhibit greater retention of those pieces of information that are encountered less often. Because higher intelligence allows a person to have a deeper appreciation of the connectivity of facts that may seem disparate to others of lesser intelligence, memory of such facts becomes easier.

Your General Knowledge IQ score of 156 is not significantly different from your General IQ score. This score is better than 99.99% of all persons taking this test.

Visual Apprehension

This is the ability of the mind to mentally picture visual information and to be able to extract portions of that information for separate use. A person whose visual apprehension is strong enjoys a richer, more creative appreciation of visual aspects of experiences.

Your Visual Apprehension IQ score of 153 is not significantly different from your General IQ score. This score is better than 99.98% of all persons taking this test.

Geometric

How well one can comprehend geometric relationships of lines, sides, planes, angles, and topological properties strongly determines one's ability to make sense of visual information. The strength of one's geometric ability can strongly determine how quickly knowledge can be absorbed if it is presented visually.

Your Geometric IQ score of 150 is not significantly different from your General IQ score. This score is better than 99.96% of all persons taking this test.

Vocabulary

Knowing the meaning of words is an ability that directly increases along with the increase of general intelligence. The meaning of a word is more easily remembered with higher intelligence, because it takes more intelligence to understand and correctly use words based upon the subtle differences between words with similar meanings and to comprehend difficult concepts which are sometimes symbolized by a single word.

Your Vocabulary IQ score of 154 is not significantly different from your General IQ score. This score is better than 99.98% of all persons taking this test.

Intuition

Intuition is defined as that ability of the mind to develop answers to questions without consciously dealing with the problem at hand. Often a question will provoke your mind to answer without using conscious processing time, and the answer is said to come "out of the blue" or "suddenly, it just struck me". Of all the many abilities of the mind, this is one of the most often used. Just knowing what to do is often an automatic process that occurs without much conscious figuring. Those with stronger intuition make less mistakes and can seem luckier, wiser, or more mature.

Your Intuition IQ score of 156 is not significantly different from your General IQ score. This score is better than 99.99% of all persons taking this test.

Computational Speed

If you can correctly solve a variety of problems faster than another person, you may be demonstrating a generally more orderly internal arrangement of your mind's problem solving methods. While speed cannot be the sole factor in determining overall superiority in one mental operations, in general faster computational speed will often indicate that a problem's comprehension was more complete. With everything else being equal, a person with faster computational speed than another person's will be better at tasks that require the synthesis of many bits of information.

Your Computational Speed IQ score of 107 is significantly lower than your General IQ score. This score is better than 67.96% of all persons taking this test.

James Bond, my inner persona as an action hero

I scored as James Bond, Agent 007. James Bond is MI6's best agent, a suave, sophisticated super spy with charm, cunning, and a license's to kill. He doesn't care about rules or regulations and somewhat amoral. He does care about saving humanity though, as well as the beautiful women who fill his world. Bond has expensive tastes, a wide knowledge of many subjects, and his usually armed with a clever gadget and an appropriate one-liner.

I'm the United Nations

I'm the United Nations!

Most people think I'm ineffective, but I am trying to
completely save the world from itself, so there's always going to be a long
way to go. I'm always the one trying to get friends to talk to each
other, enemies to talk to each other, anyone who can to just talk instead of
beating each other about the head and torso. Sometimes it works and sometimes
it doesn't, and I get very schizophrenic as a result. But my heart
is in the right place, and sometimes also in New York.

The ghostly scoop: Port Washington

The ghostly scoop: Port Washington
So I found this blog article on blogger and it deals with a ghostly encounter with someone from Port Washington. I am not sure if it is Port Washington, WI or not. I have put in a comment to him. I hope he replies to it. Here is what he had to say in September, 2005:

This is where I had my most strangest encounters I would have to say.Port Washington is so small, you can stand in the middle of town and look both ways and you can see the city limits. The house we was renting had some strange things going on there. We would hear people call our name when no one was there, knocking at the door only to find nothing there.I know that old homes creek and crack, but this was beyond that. This was one of those homes where you feel you were losing your mind. You would here rocking chairs and people talking to you.I do have a pic I plan on posting of an ectoplasm or so I have been told, that was taken at my wife's baby shower. So after about 9 months we had enough of it and decided to move.Only to find out that it used to be a funeral home.If I had known that in the first place, I would have never moved in there.

My Year: Year of the Fire Dog

January 29, 2006 is the Chinese New Year and this year is the year of the Dog (or Fire Dog). Since I happen to have been born in 1982, that also makes this my year...it might hold better if I was Chinese but I will still try to use it to my advantage this year.

The last time it was my year was 1994. Bill Clinton was in office, pre-Monica Lewinsky fiasco. The Houston Rockets won over the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals (currently both these teams are under .500). The X-Files was still in its first season and the only reality TV you saw was the interaction between the misdirected youths on MTV's The Real World. Times were definitely different the last time the year of the Dog reigned in.

So, like I said before, this year is my year. So you all better recognize. Don't worry Cocks, you only have to wait 11 more years. HA!

The Office, Season 1...for only $9.99

So recently I went into my local Best Buy...well one of my local Best Buys because I have two that are about 4 miles apart. Anyway, I started checking out all the awesome TVs that I can't afford and then I started perusing through video games.

For some reason I began to start checking out television shows on DVD. Soon enough my wonderful fiance, Kristin, showed me a copy of the Office, Season One for just $10.99. I thought, "hmm...that's pretty cheap." Then she looked at the other copies and the all said $23.99 except for one that said $9.99. I pointed out there must have been an error...in our favor.

I took the DVD to the register and when the cashier said $25 and some odd change, I acted confused and then pointed to the price tag on the box. Without saying a word, she went and got her manager. Her manager came over a couple of minutes later and said, "Okay, that will be $10.55 (after tax)". I handed over my gift card and a couple of bucks in cash and I became the proud new owner of the DVD at least than half of the retail price.

The DVD is wonderful. These were all episodes that I have never seen. I hopped on the bandwagon this season, I will admit it. They have deleted scenes and commentary. The only annoying thing is that you cannot move through one of the episodes quickly as they are each one chapter.

Bill Gates Runs Like a Girl

A person would think that if they were the richest person in the ENTIRE WORLD, they might to be able to hire somebody to instruct them on a basic running technique. Mr. William Gates aka UberDork Emeritus made that mistake when he eagerly kind of "fluttered" onto stage at the Xbox 360 launch. He ran like a little school girl. I know this is kind of old news but I didn't hear of this until I checked out the "Bill Gates Runs Like a Girl" video off of the Attack of the Show Website.

Martin Lawrence, GO AWAY ALREADY!

Why oh why is there a Big Momma's House 2 movie coming out. Will someone stop writing checks to Martin Lawrence? He isn't worth anymore than what he was making when he was on his self-titled narcissistic show.

Now take the Bad Boys movies--we all know that Will Smith, a very versatile entertainer, carried his black ass through both of those movies. Sure, Martin works okay in these as comic relief but only in small doses.

Why am I ragging on Martin Lawrence? Well I think he is annoying and I wouldn't lose any sleep over never hearing his squeaky voice or some buttnugget trying to say, "Damn, Gina!" as a sad attempt at an impersonation. We know that certain voice can only have came from something that is evil.

I have not seen Big Momma's House and I do not plan on seeing Big Momma's House 2. I think Martin Lawrence is an ass clown. The only reason that a Big Momma's House 2 is coming out 6 years later, is that the original only cost some $30 million to make and grossed $117 million in profit. With the way the movie industry has been, I guess Fox thought it was a good time to go with a proven method no matter what deep dark evil they may release onto cold celluloid.

And...Black Knight?...National Security?...Rebound?...Did you see these movies? I didn't see them....not in the theatres....not on DVD...not...um...never...nope...never saw these. And it looks like most of America and the rest of the moviegoing world did not see them. There is some justice left. Hail Ritter Jamal!

I wish I could talk like Paul Harvey

Paul Harvey is this news guy who is spills national headlines through out the day on one of my local AM news stations. I wish I could talk like him sometimes but not all the time. His voice is very original, it sounds like what a dying mule would say if it could talk...but for some reason I wish Paul was telling me the news right now. I am sure this guy has a storied history in radio journalism...but I just don't feel like looking any of it up. So I will give him a nod for at least sounding like an important person. Paul Harvey...your voice makes all the other voices jealous.

The Google "Miserable Failure" rumor is true

Today, while at work, a fellow co-worker of mine showed this to me. If you go to Google and type in "miserable failure" (quotes not needed) and the hit "I'm Feeling Lucky" instead of just Search a page that displays George W. Bush's biography off of the White House website. I am not sure why this happens every time. I have tried it a couple of times but it always holds true.

Could this have something to do with the Government requesting that Google release what people search for? I understand that the Patriot Act was put into effect to help protect American citizens from terrorism. But where does it draw the line? We are losing are freedoms and our privacy by politicians who bend the original intent of the Patriot Act to their liking.

I feel that the Patriot Act needs to be revised or the Supreme Court should do something about it. Our country's checks and balances are out of whack. I was just watching the Colbert Report and Stephen Colbert commented that checks and balances means that when you checked the box to vote for Bush, you gave him all the balance. I am not sure when we will be given our privacy back, but as it stands now, it seems all the Patriot Act has done is take away our civil liberties.

I ripped my back pocket on my jeans and I don't like it

So, I walk into Shopko with my fiance, Kristin, and I peruse the clearance in the electronics section to find an Action Replay for PS2 and a discounted price. I also found Crazy Taxi for $7.99 and Primal for $8.99. Lo and behold I didn't pick up those crappy games. I did however get the Action Replay and Kristin was nice enough to buy that on top of a 20 ouncer of Sprite. She got a Coke. Anyway, we walk outside into the parking lot and we are going to her car and their are people who just parked on her passenger side. The passenger of that car gets out way before the driver. I am sort of the impatient type and I decide I can make it into the car before she opens the door. Nope, bad idea...she swings the car door open like she she is the only one in the parking lot and I have to move back to avoid my junk getting crushed by this dumb broad. So I apologize and let her get out of her shitty car. I am a little frazzled at this moment. I get into Kristin's car and I have to duck just a little bit because of my height. It's more like a swing in so I don't rock my noggin on the top of the car and I have to kind of slide my butt across the seat. Well this time, and I blame it on not getting into the car at the time I should have, I caught my right butt cheek pocket on the lever that puts the seat back. Now this wouldn't have been so bad, but I had previously broke this lever so there a point to it...I broke it by swinging my ass into the car. And no, those aren't my actual jeans in the picture.

Sudoku is highly addictive and it rules my girlfriend's life

I will admit it, I am addicted too. If you have been left in the dark on this new fad then I suggest you look around or check out Websudoku.com to check it out.

That is all I really have to say about this because I want to go and play again. I just thought I would share.

Ducktales for the Nintendo Entertainment System is still a hard game no matter what difficulty you put it on

I recently played DuckTales again and boy was this game hard. Magically all the hidden rooms came back to me like I had just played it last week and the awkward controls to use Scrooge McDuck's cane as a pogo stick came back to me easily as well.

I still have some playing to do to beat this one. As sad as it may sound, I am playing it on Easy and getting my butt kicked. 8-bit games are so unforgiving.

If anyone wants to check out some cool remixes of the songs from this game, they can do so by going here.

Jim...are you ready?

It's true, this is just in...I am hilarious...my girlfriend told me so. She also told me she is bored and if we don't go do something soon she is going to fall asleep. I love that about her. :)
